This trainer is a unique design for data acquisition & control application training for instrumentation, Computer Science & Electronics students. It consists of a computer, a powerful PC based DAS card, Extension board, signal conditioner, Digital input/output, display modules for getting familiar with data acquisition principles & control Applications.                                                     

    1.1. Printer Port Based Data Acquisition Card                                              [TOC]

  • IBM PC/AT parallel port Compatible

  • 8 Channel analog inputs single ended Input Voltage Range : 0±5 volt

  • 12 bit dual slope integrating A/D converter

  • 7.5 conversions/second

  • One channel analog output with 12 bit resolution Output Voltage : ±5V

  • 8 Digital output line

  • 8 digital input lines

  • Two channel current to voltage converter can be configured to ADC input

     # Input : 4-20mA

     # Output : 0-5V

  • One channel voltage to current converter can be configured to DAC output

     # Input : 0-5V

     # Output : 4-20mA

  • Suitable for process control applications

  • All the analog and digital signals terminated at 50 pin FRC connector

  • A builtin power supply is provided to feed the supply to all components.

    Input Voltage : 0-5V.

    Output Current: 4-20mA

  • Two Channels current to voltage conversion

    Input current : 4-20mA.

    Output voltage: 0-5 volt.

  • 8 SPDT switch to demonstrate digital inputs.

  • 4 Nos of 24 volt lamps to demonstrate the digital inputs.

  • 2 Nos of LEDs to demonstrate the digital outputs.

  • 2 Nos of 12 volt lamps to demonstrate the digital inputs.

  • 4 Potentiometers provided to output 0-5 volt to feed analog inputs.

  • 20 LEDs are provided variety to simulate a Bar graph display.

  • Voltage Input (0-5V)

  • Input voltage is fed through a 2 pin screw type connector
