The Instrumentation Tutor Boards (ITB Series) consists of

i)   Transducer

ii)  Mechanical Setup

           All the modules are integrated as a single unit with test points. These ITB boards are specially designed for conducting experiments in the measurement and control lab and also facilities to interface with Microprocessor kits and IBM PC based AD/DA cards. It is also provided with drivers, AD/DA Cards, Opto I/O lines etc to study the Instrumentation and Control.

3. LEVEL CONTROL / MEASUREMENT MODULE [ITB-03]                            [TOC]

      This module consists of a process tank with a miniature pump, level sensor for 2 levels, a power supply etc to establish a ON/OFF control for the level of water. Circuitry provided for standalone operation or through a 8255 port of a Microprocessor kit.

A transparent tank (of height 150mm) with adjustable electrodes to vary the higher level and lower level.

A pump with tank for water circulation

22. HYSTERESIS MEASUREMENT MODULE [ITB-026]                                  [TOC]

            This trainer consists of hardware to study the hysteresis loop of any magnetic material. The hardware consists of two core step down transformer. The associate circuitry applies a sine waveform.

35. SIMPLE THERMAL SYSTEM : [VTCS-03]                                              [TOC]

            Thermal system consists of a real miniature process to teach the basics of control theory. This system consists of controller, thyristor based power driver, Stirred tank of 1 litter capacity, RTD as a temperature sensor, signal conditioner etc., to provide a closed loop control of P, PI and PID control and ON/OFF control with adjustable overlap.
