1.SMPS BASIC STUDY MODULE : [ITB-SMP01]

Switch mode power supplies (SMPS) become an integral part of computers,
Electronics equipments, TV's and etc. It is extensively used in latest IBM
compatible computers, which forces the Engineers to understand it thoroughly. In
order to understand the SMPS technically, Vi Microsystems has introduced seven
"SMPS Training Modules" Model : VSMP-001 to VSMP-007. Seven different
modules have been introduced for better understanding of SMPS technically. The
five modules have been designed based on the basic topology and their derived
counter-part SMPS, namely buck converter, Boost converter, Buck-boost converter,
fly back converter, forward converter, half bridge converter and current mode
convertor. These modules allows the beginners to understand the basic principle
of SMPS and its various design implementation.
